Video tutorial: Patchwork Christmas tree softie and Christmas storm at sea quilt

I’ve made a few Christmas tree softies over the years. They make a great Christmas gift for friends and family. And you can use all your favourite fabric scraps.

If you prefer, you can make make a storm at sea quilt for Christmas. Storm at sea is a beginner block and this one is made with paper piecing. Learn to paper piece with this video.

Tree softies

Make trees in different colour schemes and in different sizes. This is the time to use all those fabric scraps you have around the house.

Stitch any embellishments such as bows, stitch little beads, add a felt star to the top. So many options!

I quite like it with a felt star on the top.
