Road to Tennessee is a classic. It is also a very versatile block that you can place in many ways to come up with very different layouts.
You can use two colours to give some depth to the block as well.
Both blocks are suitable for beginners and are perfect to start quilting.
How to make these two Road to Tennessee blocks
New book out now
“Turnabout Patchwork. Simple quilts with a twist” is all about playing with blocks – making a block, slicing it up, and turning or repositioning the pieces to make a completely different block (sometimes two smaller blocks) to yield endless quilt tops.
