Mysteries Down Under - Snowball quilt block - video tutorial

Block 2 – Snow ball quilt block – Mysteries Down Under quilt

This is the second block in the Mysteries Down Under quilt.

By the way, the blocks aren’t assembled in order. So as you make them, put them away in a safe place until all of them are done.

Snowball is a classic block and it’s perfect for beginners. Check the colour below if you’re using the suggested palette.

New book out on December 3

“Turnabout Patchwork. Simple quilts with a twist” is all about playing with blocks – making a block, slicing it up, and turning or repositioning the pieces to make a completely different block (sometimes two smaller blocks) to yield endless quilt tops.

You can preorder on Amazon.

Or preorder on Bookdepository and get it delivered for free.

  1. Not sure if my post to fb made it to your fb page so attaching here.

I’m using my daughter’s bridesmaid dresses. Its a bit tricky using satin but am using the lightest of stabiliser to hold the satin.

Looking forward to sewing along with you. Will be on the road travelling in about 3 weeks time but will take my sewing gear with me (including my machine) so I can keep up with the mystery!!!

    Blessings Pam.😀
