  1. Love the use of the Eiffel Tower fabric. I would not have thought cutting it up could look so good. Shows I should try these things rather than being put off by the thought of it! Enjoy seeing all your blocks and look forward to the finished product.

  2. More wonderful blocks…. totally agree with the Eiffel Tower comment. Have you given any thought to the end game here… are they all the same size and you will just stitch them together as squares?

  3. I was surprised myself! I have had the fabric for a while but never used it in a blockso I thought why not, among that many block a you wouldn’t notice if it turned out ugly

  4. Thanks Carol. I’m finding that, contrary to what I thought, most blocks are the same size. I had to add a small strip of fabric to a couple so far, nothing noticeable. Once I started to add sashing I realised that slight size differences weren’t a problem at all. Now, the really scary thought is the quiltin in a regular machine. I have a Janome 8200 with a 9 inch arm and this will be twice the size my largest quilt.
