I have just discovered your blog from the recommendation of another blogger and friend of mine, Pam of Gingerbread Snowflakes. You have so many beautiful projects and tutorials! I love all of the Christmas projects in particular. I recently began a Christmas Once a Month series and it’s nice to see so much inspiration in one place. Thank you! I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

I just discovered your blog and love everything about it. I want to try some of the fabric manipulation blocks as I have also done a couple of pincushions with a fabric folding technique on my blog.

Just finished a little sampler from the Framers Wife blocks for my little niece. I chose a couple of the blocks in the book and made my own design regarding how to put the blocks together as a whole. Hope you can pass by and have a look. Aren’t these blocks so fun and frustrating at the same time!!! I learned loads making this quilt but I will be making bigger blocks in the future! hugs

Well, a bit of patience helps but I guess if you don´t put a date to it and keep going when you feel like it you get there.

I love the scrappy look! I guess you must have a huge scrap bin. I’ve not been much a saver(dislike the name “hoarder” sounds like someone who saves without reason!) of scraps but I guess you have to start if you want to make one of the these quilts.

Most of my quilts are scrappy quilts because I tend to make thenm with whatever fabrics I have in my stash which is not that big (about one and a half crate at the moment). I buy fabric I like but not for a particular project.
